The Part Exchange scheme involves Spring – an independent company buying your current property so you can move into your new HarperCrewe home. It’s designed to take away the stress of selling on the open market and means you can reserve your new home with confidence.
We can consider homes valued at up to 60% of your new home's price, with a maximum value of £500,000.
If your home is suitable, we will request 2 estate agent valuations. Spring underwriters will conduct a review of your property, to make you a no-obligation indicative offer. Subject to RICS* survey.
If you’re not happy with the valuation, there’s no obligation to part exchange your house. You’re welcome to explore other ways of selling your home, and our team can also advise on alternative buying options.
Before completion, we’ll agree with you which items will stay and which you’ll take with you.
Please keep your home in good condition until completion so it’s ready for the new owner. Minor cosmetic issues are usually fine, but structural or safety issues may need to be addressed before the Part Exchange goes ahead.
You’ll need to provide some essential documents (like gas and electrical safety certificates) before completion. On completion day, simply ensure your home is clean, vacant, and ready for handover.
One of the perks of our Part Exchange scheme is that Spring will cover estate agent fees.
We ask that you instruct a solicitor quickly and aim to exchange contracts within 42 days, unless we’ve agreed a longer timeframe with you. This keeps your new build purchase on track.
It’s straightforward: choose your HarperCrewe home, and Spring will value your current property, and if you accept their offer, you will be able to secure your new HarperCrewe home. This means you can part exchange your house for a new build and move without the stress of selling on the open market. Both sales complete on the same day for a smoother move.
