HarperCrewe recently welcomed a group of lucky winners to its Stoke Orchard neighbourhood for a Christmas wreath making workshop hosted by a local florist, Lisa Lloyd of Cottage Bouquets.

The housebuilder extended the festive invitation via a social media competition through which entrants could win two spots at one of three wreath workshops across the country, held at its developments in Stoke Orchard in Gloucestershire, Creswell in Derbyshire and Harlington in Bedfordshire. Following a random selection, winners were welcomed to the charming new-build neighbourhood on Stoke Road.

With a focus on utilising renewable materials that mirrored HarperCrewe’s commitment to sustainable practice, Lisa Lloyd guided the group through the wreath-making process and provided expert knowledge on arrangement and aesthetics. Turning foliage into festive fixtures, the local attendees each crafted their own Christmas wreath from scratch, learning from Lisa and leaving with a new, eco-conscious decoration for their doors.

Lisa Lloyd, Founder of Cottage Bouquets, said: “It was a pleasure to work with HarperCrewe and offer such a fun, festive experience to the local community. The Stoke Orchard sales office was an ideal location in terms of its accessibility from Cheltenham and the surrounding areas, and I’m very grateful to the HarperCrewe team for their help in organising the competition and event. I hope everyone enjoyed themselves, the wreaths were excellent!”

Danielle Heard, Sales Director at HarperCrewe, said: “We thoroughly enjoyed welcoming our winners to Stoke
Orchard, where Lisa gave a brilliant demonstration and highlighted how easy and beautiful sustainable crafts can be. HarperCrewe holds itself to a highly sustainable standard and we’re always looking for new ways to share our passion with the local community. Thank you to Lisa for hosting such a brilliant workshop and to the talented wreath-makers who joined us – we look forward to seeing your creations up in the local area!”
