Higham Ferrers

With both Northampton and Kettering within easy reach, you’ll never be short of things to do when living in one of our new homes in Higham Ferrers. 

For some greenery and the great feeling of being closer to nature, why not head to Nene Wetlands Nature Reserve, which can be found behind Rushden Lakes, where you’ll find plenty of walking trails and a variety of animals to spot. 
And if it’s raining? Give Rushden Escape Rooms a go with friends and family to see if you can work together to make it out before the time runs out. 

Speaking of competition, you can also team up or challenge each other at Skirmish Central for a spot of friendly paintballing. 
As for the children, any extra energy can be spent over at Irchester Country Park, with it ziplines, play area and high ropes course, as well as various child-friendly paths to explore. 

Prefer to leave the car at home? No need to worry as Higham Ferrers allows for nearly everywhere to be reached on foot. There’s even a network of designated routes called The Greenway for walkers and cyclers alike. 

For anyone needing to catch the bus, the area is served by a few routes, such as the 50 bus, allowing you to get to nearby Rushden in 10 mins and Bedford in 45 mins. 

Need to get to work on the train? The closest station to Higham Ferrers is Wellingborough station, with trains available to Corby (15 mins) and London St Pancras (55 mins). As for flights abroad, London Luton Airport is easily accessible by car and train. 

And for car commuters, the A45 and A6 are both near our new builds in Higham Ferrers, allowing for easy access to the likes of Northampton and Kettering. 

With a great range of schools to choose from in the area, our new homes in Higham Ferrers provide an ideal place for families to settle down.  

Nearby options for younger children include Higham Ferrers Nursery and Infant School and Higham Ferrers Junior School, as well as Henry Chichele Primary School.  

For secondary school options, The Ferrers School is a great choice and is located adjacent to our development.  

You can also find Moulton College which offers learning options for anyone seeking further studies in specific careers, while the University of Northampton provides local higher education.
