Craving a traditional pub roast? The Gloucester Old Spot is a 4-minute drive away from home, where you can enjoy a Sunday lunch with your family and friends. Our new build homes near Cheltenham are also close to The Swan Inn and The Royal Oak. 

Driving 5 minutes into Bishops Cleeve will take you to the town centre, where you can find a range of cafes, takeaways and sit-in restaurants serving a variety of cuisines, including Italian, Indian and Hungarian. You can also find a few gyms there, such as Anytime Fitness.

Bishops Cleeve is also ideal for grocery shopping, with Lidl, Tesco and the Co-op available in the town centre, but if it’s retail therapy you’re after, then Regent Arcade in Cheltenham and Gallagher Retail Park just outside are both less than 8 miles away from the development.

Stoke Orchard itself is best known for its community centre, an eco-friendly building designed to facilitate meetings and events. There, you’ll find a community shop, a cafe and fully fitted kitchen on-site, with many regular events being hosted there, such as Bingo, Pilates and even toddler classes.

Tewkesbury is an 11-minute drive away from our new housing development near Cheltenham. The area is known for its imposing Norman abbey which can be visited during the day. It’s also home to the large Tewkesbury Nature Reserve, which provides with over 100 acres of green space to explore.

You can also reach the heart of Cheltenham in less than 15 minutes by car. There are plenty of things to see once you’re there, ranging from the Wilson Art Gallery and Museum to the Victorian interiors of Gustav Holst’s birthplace, while the more competitive can try out Funky Laser Tag and Mulligans’ miniature golf course.

Our new homes in Stoke Orchard are ideally located, thanks to their proximity to the M5, a major link between Bristol and Birmingham. The closest access point is a 10-minute drive away in Cheltenham, and residents can use the motorway to reach Bristol in 53 minutes and Worcester in 35. 

Two buses pass through Stoke Orchard via Stoke Road: the T service between Tewkesbury and Bishops Cleeve, and the M14 to Teddington Hands and Gloucester. 

The Cheltenham Spa train station is a 14-minute drive away, where services leave regularly to Birmingham New Street, Bristol Temple Meads, Cardiff Central, Plymouth and Nottingham.

Stoke Orchard has one primary school within the village: Tredington. A 3-minute drive or a 33-minute walk away from our new build houses in Cheltenham, the school accepts students from 4 to 11 years old. 

Parents have additional choice in the town of Bishop’s Cleeve, where Grangefield Primary and Bishop's Cleeve Primary Academy are available for children between 4 and 11. Grangefield is a 4-minute drive away, while Bishop’s Cleeve Academy is 6 minutes away by car. 

The local secondary school is Cleeve School and Sixth Form for 11 to 18 year olds. Located in Bishop’s Cleeve, the school offers access to the Duke of Edinburgh award for ambitious students.
