Enjoy beauty, history and connectivity with our selection of new homes in Derbyshire. Known for its charming villages and bustling towns, where you can find friendly and welcoming communities, the county is also perfectly located in the heart of England. 
It’s home to both great road and rail links to major cities around the country, such as Birmingham, Nottingham and Manchester, as well as the picturesque Peak District National Park, which attracts over 13 million visitors a year. 
With all of this on the doorstep of our new build houses in Derbyshire, it’s easy to see why so many people find the idea of moving here so desirable. 

Affectionately known as ‘Happy Valley’, the village of Hodthorpe is where we decided to set up one of our new housing developments in Derbyshire.  
This is because it offers a unique blend of rural charm and community spirit, while providing quick and easy access to Worksop, Sheffield and Nottingham by both car and train, with the nearest station found in nearby Whitwell. 
As well as its great transport links, it’s also surrounded by countryside and close to the renowned heritage site of Creswell Crags, where you can admire prehistoric cave art.  

If you’re thinking about living in Derbyshire, then one place you cannot miss, with its craggy hills and sweeping dales, is the Peak District National Park. Especially for hiking, cycling, rock climbing and caving enthusiasts. But if you’re more of a casual stroll kind of person, there are also plenty of leisurely walks for the less adventurous. 
Enjoy history? Then Derby, which played a key part in the Industrial Revolution, is where you should go, with a good selection of museums in the city on offer to teach you all about that period.  
Furthermore, fans of Jane Austen will want to head over to Chatsworth House, which was the palatial setting for Pride & Prejudice and is located a short drive from our new homes in Derbyshire.
